Rose

Aesthetics Practitioner
Registered Operating Department Practitioner

Hello, I'm Rose! I have been interested in Human Biology since A-level and went to University in Sheffield to study for a degree in Human Biology, after which I worked in a medical microbiology laboratory for several years. I absolutely loved this job but it was soon time to move on to something more patient centered. After discovering an exciting role in Operating Theatres called an Operating Department Practitioner, I decided to undertake further study and gained another degree, from Hull University, in Operating Department Practice. I have now been qualified as an ODP and registered with the HCPC, since 2019 and continue to do this role within the NHS.

Our Bespoke Treatments

Tailored to your own skin and skin concerns

A brief insight into the range of treatments that we offer in clinic. For more details about each individual procedure, including prices, please see see the 'Treatment and Prices' page

Anti-Wrinkle Treatments

Botulinum toxin injections

Botulinum toxin injections can be used to inhibit the action of, and temporarily relax muscles. When the muscle doesn't move, the overlying skin then doesn't move which is what then has the effect of smoother skin folds and wrinkles. Botulinum toxin works best on 'dynamic wrinkles' which are the lines or creases in the face which appear only when you use that muscle, for instance when smiling or frowning. As we age and our skin loses elasticity, repeated facial expressions and muscle contractions can lead to deeper, more pronounced dynamic wrinkles. These will eventually lead to 'static wrinkles' which are permanent lines or folds which are present even when the face is at rest. These are much more diffiuclt to treat, and so the earlier you start to reduce the wrinkles whilst they are still in the 'dynamic' state, the better the effect will be.

Dermal Filler Procedures

Non-permanent, hyaluronic acid fillers

Dermal fillers are used to restore volume in the face to help address signs of aging, add volume, or augment and define an existing shape, for example in the lips or cheeks. We use hyaluronic acid based synthetic fillers in clinic. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring substance which plays a key role in the skin and is found in the basal layer of the epidermis. It is biodegradable and is broken down over time in the body by enzymes called hyaluronidase, giving results which last for between 6-18 months, depending on the site of injection, and the sub-type of filler used.

Microneedling

Collagen Induction Therapy

Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin treatment that uses a device with tiny needles to create micro-injuries in the skin at a controlled depth. The device is then able to deliver restorative actives (ingredients specifically designed to address particular skin concerns)  deep into the skin layer. This not only stimulates the body's natural healing response, leading to increased collagen and elastin production, but works to improve skin texture (such as acne scarring), reduced fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, rosacea or enlarged pores.

Consultation

Face-to-face consultation

Our consultation appointments are there to allow us to meet you in person as not only do we want to make sure that you are suitable for the treatments we offer, but it also allows you to meet us and make sure we are the right practitioners for you. We would perform skin assessments, discuss your skin concerns, and if required, make you a bespoke treatment plan going forward. Consultation appointments are essential prior to booking any botulinum toxin or anti-wrinkle treatments.

Chemical Peels

Superficial chemical skin exfoliation

Chemical peel procedures are a popular and widely recognised method of improving the health and appearance of the skin by chemical exfoliation and encouraging regeneration and rejuvenation of new skin cells. There are three different chemical peels depending on your skin, and are used to help treat a variety of skin concerns from fine lines, wrinkles and dullness, hyperpigmentation (darker patches of skin), photo damage (aging of the skin due to the sun, sun-spots (flat brown spots), blackheads, whiteheads, and enlarged pores. All of the acid contained in the peel solution are naturally derived, vegan, and cruelty free

LED Mask

A non-invasive skin treatment that uses LED to stimulate cellular activity

Clinically proven to not only stimulate collagen and elastin but also can be used to decrease "downtime" - LED assists in skin healing after skin rejuvenation treatments such as microneedling or chemical peels. LED also helps to increase absorption of meso-glides and skincare products. It also promotes the production of serotonin which is an essential for sleep, wellbeing and happiness. Our LED mask uses two clinically proven wavelengths of light red (633nm) light and near infra-red (830nm) light. The mask itself is portable, comfortable, lightweight and flexible and molds to every face.

Client Testimonials

Our clients share their own experiences of treatments they've recieved with us

Sally
08/05/25

"I visited White Rose Skin Clinic today for a chemical peel. I've never had one before and I was quite nervous. Rose was an absolute professional but was kind and patient. Her clinical background was reassuring, and she explained everything as she went along. I was so relaxed it felt almost like a facial. She gave me advice and instruction on how to achieve the best result for me and I felt like the treatment was tailored to my needs. I've booked for 6 sessions and am positively looking forward to my next visit."
